Patrick is a Vice President in Nexant’s Customer Strategy, Planning, & Analysis group located in the Louisville, CO office. Patrick has more than 20 years of engineering, planning, and analytic experience with a focus on demand side management (DSM) program planning and evaluation, energy-efficiency analysis, renewable generation technologies, and lighting and electrical systems design. He provides key staff leadership and mentoring to his project team engaged in DSM planning and evaluation, energy efficiency analysis, and auditing.  In his tenure at Nexant, Patrick has successfully led several market potential studies for the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, Platte River Power Authority, NorthWestern Energy, and Tri-State Generation. He has also successfully led energy efficiency program evaluations for Georgia Power Company, Duke Energy, the Independent Electricity System Operator of Ontario, and the Colorado Energy Office. He is a registered professional engineer in electrical engineering and holds Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Demand Side Professional accreditations. Patrick has extensive experience working with a large variety projects, clients, climates, and facilities including multi-use, hospitality, government, commercial, school districts, hospitals, industrial facilities and residential premises.
