Gartner Names Nexant to Magic Quadrant for Utilities Customer Information Systems for RevenueManager
Jun 17, 2014
SAN FRANCISCO – Nexant announced today that it has been included in the latest Gartner Magic Quadrant1 for its RevenueManager® software platform for the ninth consecutive year. While inclusion of a company’s offerings does not represent an endorsement by Gartner, the Magic Quadrants are widely recognized sources for analyzing vendor market positions in various industries.
As a fully integrated customer care, billing, and contract management platform, Nexant RevenueManager supports multiple commodities in residential, commercial, and industrial markets through the entire customer lifecycle—from prospecting to customer acquisition, customer service, and billing.
“We are very pleased and excited to once again be included in Gartner’s new CIS Magic Quadrant,” said Tanya Shepherd, Nexant’s VP of RevenueManager worldwide operations. “We have successfully demonstrated to our RevenueManager customers that the platform significantly reduces their customer service costs and its out-of-the-box configurability eliminates any need for custom product development—a substantial cost savings.”
“Out-of-the-box COTS CIS products provide adequate levels of M2C (billing) functionality required by various utility companies operating in different market structures or focused on different customer segments,” according to Gartner. “Integrated utilities or local distribution companies in a regulated market or network companies and retail/supplier companies in a contestable energy retail sector will find their billing needs fully met by leading CIS COTS products.”2
