New Subscription Program Provides Long-Term Forecasts and Scenarios for Natural Gas and LNG Markets
San Francisco - February 17, 2016 - Nexant announced today that it has launched the World Gas Analytics Service (WGAS), a subscription advisory service that provides coherent projections for global, regional and national supply/demand and prices for natural gas.
“The World Gas Analytics Service builds on Nexant’s expertise and experience in providing consultancy services and analytical tools for the natural gas and LNG markets” said Mike Fulwood, NexantThinking’s Global leader for Natural Gas Market Analysis. “The forecasts in WGAS are generated by our highly-regarded and proven “World Gas Model” which is used under license by the world’s leading energy companies, governments and think tanks to provide insights into how the gas market may develop in the face of great uncertainty.”
WGAS provides long-term forecasts for the global market as well as individual regions and countries. Deliverables include detailed numerical forecasts for each scenario and region selected. The data is supported by summary PowerPoint presentations which draw out the key trends and issues behind the data.
Subscribers will be able to use WGAS outputs to assess the impact of key uncertainties facing the world gas market. The service is based around three scenarios designed to capture a range of possible outcomes facing the industry. In addition to Nexant’s Base Case, two alternative scenarios will also be considered. Subscriptions are available on an annual basis and subscribers receive the Base Case four times a year, updated each quarter for changes in key assumptions, and alternative scenarios during the year.
The Base Case Scenario for the World Gas Analytics Service is now available here.
